Why when looking for pet care cheap is not always the bargain it seems to be.
When choosing a pet carer or dog walker costs are often a deciding factor. Many people will often choose to use a friend, family member, a pensioner or even a local teenager. While this may sound like a good cost cutting exercise we would always advise going with a proper trained professional who runs a business caring for pets. You may ask why, well here’s why!
IT IS A HUGE COMMITMENT TO BE RESPONSIBLE FOR SOMEONE’S PET.
You need someone who is not only experienced but dedicated to turning up to walk your dog or attend to your pets, whatever the weather! Pawsitively Purrfect has been in operation and caring for pets since early 2013! And will be there to care for your pets as you do, day in day out!
A PROFESSIONAL PET CARE BUSINESS WILL HOLD THE NECESSARY INSURANCE AND PAPER WORK.
There is no national regulation for dog walkers. Anyone can start dog walking or caring for pets with no previous experience or background in pet care. Pawsitively Purrfect have many years experience and hold qualifications in working with and caring for many different animals. We are also fully insured, have terms and conditions, paperwork and consent forms that all clients must fill in. Our dog walking agreement is quite lengthy because we like to find out as much as possible about your dog as we can. This makes it easier for us to pick the right group and friends for them. We can also provide references from happy clients. Some can be seen on the website here. We are also police checked for your peace of mind, therefore you can be assured your pet and house are in safe trustworthy hands!
This is why professional pet carers cost more than the local teenager! We have spent a great deal of time working with pets and building up our experience and knowledge. Would the local teenager know what to do in an emergency or if a dog got hurt?
We often have specialised vehicles to transport dogs safely and securely. Pawsitively Purrfect has a large van with large secure crates so each dog can travel in its own crate to ensure its safety and comfort at all times. Furthermore we never allow dogs from different families to travel loose together! These vans and crates are a huge investment for us and a reflection of how seriously we take the well being and safety of the pets we care for. Does the local pensioner have such transport? Or are all the dogs allowed loose in the back of the car uncrated and unrestrained?
PLEASE THINK VERY CAREFULLY ABOUT WHO YOU TRUST YOUR PRECIOUS PET WITH!
